If you are visiting the Reading area and want to catch some fish-- let me know!! Being the local Waterways Conservation Officer for E. Berks County and N. Montgomery County for 6 years has given me the knowledge as to where a few feeding fish might be found. It could be Crappie, Carp, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bluegills or Trout. If it has fins and swims, I am more than happy to try to catch it and hopefully you feel the same way!! When trout season is over, there are plenty of other fish species that are willing to be caught.

****Trout, trout and more trout. If you want to chase trout when you are in the area, that shouldn’t be a problem. There are a few waters that hold trout year round. If you are into Wild Trout fishing, you will certainly be surprised at the hidden gems that can be found in E. Berks County.

****If you are looking to get your family or your children into fishing, please look no further. I can customize a learning program for you. I have done many programs dealing with children and/or families while being a Waterways Conservation Officer for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. Whether it be fishing or canoeing for the first time, or if a refresher is needed, give me a call and we can put something together.

****My day trips are designed for Southeastern Pennsylvania anglers to journey to a new stream for a day. Leave the driving to me as you fish Yellow Breeches Creek, Big Spring Creek, Stony Creek or Clarks Creek. I can also provide guide services on Penns Creek, Big Fishing Creek, Spring Creek and Fishing Creek.

****Steelhead trips to Erie are available in the fall and spring.  Sit back and watch a flick while we travel many hours from Southeastern PA to Erie.  Fishing for steelhead in the fall can be fun with thousands of fish in the creeks.  The spring run and dropback fish are also a blast to try to catch. 

****Ice fishing is one way to keep your fishing mind focused during winter!! I will provide all the gear necessary for you to ice fish. I will provide instruction and tips to make you an efficient ice angler. This is geared toward someone who has never ice fished before but wants to try it out before spending money on ice fishing gear. You, the client, will need to dress properly for an ice fishing trip. This would include layering properly and wearing insulated waterproof boots. Come join me OnTheHardWater for some fish catching fun.
